According to the Dance NYC Calendar, the next two weeks will feature a number of outdoor concerts around Lincoln Center. These appear to be free shows and from the Brooklyn Arts Council website this may be a new program so best get out and see it while you can.

There is also the Solar Arts Festival which is a $6 donation and is located in Stuyvesant Cove Park.

The Solar Arts runs Aug 18-20 and 25-27.

Just as a side-note, be sure to share any photographs you take with the performers if you can get their contact info. Artists despirately need documentation for their work.
