This year, the PhotoPlus Expo will be running from Thursday, October 20th through Saturday, October 22nd. The seminar will be held at Jacob Javits Center and will include over 100 photography and design seminars as well as hands-on workshops taught by world-renowned experts. This is sure to be a valuable experience for amateur and professional photographers alike.
Registration to this event is free (Expo Only) as long as you do so via the web and on/before September 30th. If you miss the deadline, a registration fee of $40.00 will apply.
Links to register as well as additional information about the exhibitors (not yet available) can be found on the PhotoPlus Expo website.

The annual Cat Show at Madison Square Garden is this weekend and photography is permitted. For anyone who's attempted to photograph a cat in the past, this is probably your best bet at getting one of them to sit still.
Their suggestion is to ask permission from the cat's owner and to be aware that kitty might not like receiving full frontal flash. My personal suggestion is to bring a portrait lens as you'd be suprised how long the reach on a Maine Coon is.
The show is from 10am to 6pm and admission is $15 for adults (see website for $1 off coupon).
Tired of waiting for a new EyeSpy? Well your wait is over.
Clues, for today? There aren't any. Because you're probably one of the millions of people every year that chugs right past on the other side of this very room, I'm guessing you don't need any clues, other than those that the two pictures provide. And YES, both of these pictures were taken in the same room, although in different spots.
