A photographer from White Plains, NY was held in police custody for several hours simply for the crime of taking the photograph above , of the flags surrounding the public courthouse.

About the Contest
This spring, nearly 3 million daffodils will bloom in New York City as part of the Daffodil Project, a living 9/11 memorial. From March 23 to May 1, 2006, submit your photo of a blooming daffodil in any of NYC’s five boroughs.

Daffodil photographs must be taken in one of NYC’s 5 boroughs in the spring of 2006. Other photographs will be disqualified. Please provide the date and exact location (be as specific as possible) where the photograph was taken.
