Saturday, April 29th -- Grab a partner and make out for 5 minutes!
This is strictly B.Y.O.P. (bring your own partner, makeout buddies will not be provided)

WHERE:the Whitney Museum, on the bridge that is the main entrance into the museum
EXACT time: meet at 4:30pm on the north side of the museum, on 75th Street just off Madison Ave, amongst fabulously decorated apartments... look for a girl with red hair in a bright orange jacket ...she'll be the crazy excited one. THIS is where we will collect so we can descend en masse!!

I don't have any confirmation on this event and sometimes these things turn out to be 4 people standing around looking slightly sheepish on a corner as they're surrounded by photographers staring at them expectantly so use your own judgement.

On the bright side, if this turns out to be bunk, you're right by the park.

April 29/30 Sakura Festival (http://www.bbg.org):
The cherry blossom festival at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. You missed out on the magnolias but most of the cherry trees are in full bloom. Performances, lots of people, sunshine, and bad overpriced food (ie, bring your own eats). $5 and the entire day tends to be crowded.

April 29 March and Rally (http://www.april29.org):
Assemble 22nd and Bway to march at noon down to Foley square where a rally will be held from 1 to 6pm.

April 30 Mayday in Tomkins Square Park with Blackkat Coalition (http://www.blackkat.org/):
2 - 6 pm right off Ave A with a party afterwards at Tonic from 6 till they're legally obligated to kick your ass out on the street.

April 30 Fly A Kite Festival in McCarren Park (williamsburg):
From noon to 5 people will be flying kites. Lots of brunch locations then head out to the park for your monthly supply of cute.
